About 160 Marietta College students were named to the Spring 2016 Dean's High Honors List, which features any full-time student completing at least 15 credit hours with a grade point average of 3.75 or better in a given semester.

Dozens of Marietta College students received academic awards and scholarships at the annual Spring Honors Convocation on April 14.

Local students presented their research at a national meeting of the American Chemical Society from March 14-18, 2016 in San Diego, CA. This semi-annual conference is an opportunity for chemists from around the world to share research data and results.

Several local residents made the academic Deans' List at Azusa Pacific University. These students are honored for a fall 2015 grade-point average of 3.5 or better. They are joined by 2,230 students receiving the same honor.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2015-16 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.

Over 400 students were named to Fort Lewis College's Dean's List for the Fall 2015 semester. These students took at least 15 credits of gradable hours and achieved a 3.60 or higher grade point average.

Miami University awarded 932 degrees to students during fall commencement exercises Friday, Dec. 11, 2015, in Millett Hall. Miami University is a public university located in southwestern Ohio, offering more than 100 degree programs in humanities, science, engineering, business, education and fine arts. Students with more than one listing have earned additional degrees or honors.

The Iowa State University College of Engineering's Dean's List honors students who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

The Iowa State University College of Human Science's Dean's List honors students who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Ohio Wesleyan University is pleased to announce its 2015 fall semester Dean's List. To qualify for OWU Dean's List recognition, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale in all applicable classes. Congratulations, Bishops, on this outstanding academic achievement!

To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

Belmont students recently performed in the "Christmas at Belmont" concert at Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony Center, a performance which was taped live and will air nationally this holiday season on PBS. Hosted by two-time Grammy winner Kathy Mattea, more than 700 student musicians joined Belmont School of Music faculty and the Nashville Children's Choir for the taping of "Christmas at Belmont."

Founded in 1991, the Fort Lewis College Environmental Center (EC) is a campus organization committed to working for environmental sustainability and social justice both at Fort Lewis College and in the Durango community. As part of its student-driven mission, the EC works to connect students to opportunities to create real change. Each year, the EC selects student leaders through a competitive application process.
